Who we are

At Arbor Farm Maple Syrup, we're more than just maple syrup makers — we're a family who loves to get our hands sticky and our boots muddy. Our journey began in 2011 when we tapped just five trees and, with a whole lot of patience, ended up with a single cup of syrup — made right on our kitchen stove. And while that was a sweet start, we quickly realized we needed a little more than one cup to truly enjoy the real thing (and get rid of the fake stuff for good!).

So, like any passionate DIYers, we built our own evaporator out of an old oil drum and a stainless steel sink, and started tapping 65 trees. After some trial and error, we knew we needed to step it up. In the fall of 2015, we took the plunge and invested in new equipment to take our syrup-making game to the next level.

Fast forward to today, and we’re tapping nearly 200 trees. It takes around 50 gallons of sap to make just 1 gallon of syrup, so we’re spending a lot of time watching that sap boil down into liquid gold. It’s hard work, but there’s nothing better than sharing the fruits (or should we say sweet sap) of our labor with you.

And throughout it all, one thing has remained constant — we love spending time in the woods with our family. From sunrise to sunset, there’s no place we’d rather be than working together to bring you the finest, small-batch maple syrup, made with love and a whole lot of passion.

So whether you’re drizzling it over pancakes, stirring it into coffee, or just enjoying it straight from the bottle, know that every drop of Arbor Farm Maple Syrup comes from a place of hard work, family time, and a love for the natural sweetness that only real maple syrup can bring.
